Do you agree with "GRADE doesn't matter"?

Grade or grade point average (GPA) is an important things for all student.
It is a summary statistic that represents a student's average performance in their studies
over a stated period of time, such as one semester.
It can say that grade shows your study or you attention in the courses that you have learn.
So you know well your life is not depend on only the grade.
We use grade in job application, but not only grade that the employer concerns but also any experiences that
you have got before such as volunteering, social service or internship.

For me, if we really concern about the grade through spending all night during midterms, or spending weekends in the library instead of hanging out with friends or volunteering. We will miss the good opportunities that we cannot find or do in the future. "Why i don't do this at that time?" You will be disappointed when you are old, if you don't do it now.
Sometime grade doesn't matter. Don't be serious about the final and let's have fun.

The actual grades really do not matter - for reasons of evaluation. However, good grades are a direct indication of how well you can apply yourself. If you have lousy grades, it is a good indication that you will not be successful in life. Not a certainty of course ... just an indication.

I do agree with that.
Sometimes, grade just shows how hard you have worked for.
But grade doesn't show that you are a good worker.

I think it is the same question as 'Do you love a person from their heart or from their self appearance?'
I think if you live in Thailand, Grade really matter on you career. When you apply a job, this is from
my experience, they'd ask your grade. However, when people impress each other from their
self appearance not from their heart, right? but we all know that in fact what make us succeed in our
career is our ability not grade and couple who is successful in their marriage life is from their heart,
their understanding not their self appearance.

I agree with you.
However, many people always focus on grade. When we have to apply for job or go to study abroad, they always focus on it. Sometimes grade can't tell you that whether you really good or bad, intelligent or not. I just think that why we have to focus on grade, why we don't focus on our behavior.

Yes, I agree with it that grade can not value the worth of others but it shows me something.
I see many people who get good grade. They always pay more attention in class than others, summit the work on time, and review lesson regularly. They make effort more than others. That is to say, good grade means you try harder. you attempt to succeed your goal which is very important for yourself. but if you try hard enough and still get bad grade, you can use the word " grade does not matter". In contrast, If you do not attempt to do anything and tell yourself that grade does not matter, it is like an excuse which uses for lying yourself. But please remember that do not stress much about grade. It is just a number. If you try your best, that is enough.

I can't tell that I'm agree or disagree with you. But, I'm the one who never care about GRADE so much.
I did homework, submitted any work, studied hard not only for grade. I did because I don't want any lectures blame on me.

Yes, I agree, but not at all.
Perhaps, grade can tell that you are an ambitious person and also hard working person.
But finally, if you have a great job and work to help our country , it will be good.
Although you get a high grade or low grade, you do not do anything for other people.
Of course, you are not to deserve it.

I do agree. I don't care too much about grade but my mom do. LOL
I know my limit to learn something. If I think I can do, I will try as hard as possible to pass it.
On the other hand, if I know that It over my potential, I will feel discourage to do it.
That's too bad. T_T I will try to change my attitude.

Grade does matter for all Thai people and social. We decide a person
from grade. When you apply for a job, they don't know what you are
good at; so they will take a look at your grade first to consider your
responsibilities of what you've done.

However grade is not the only thing that matter, and it shouldn't be the goal in education.

It does matter in some ways, because most people still get the wrong idea that grade define your intelligence and talent.
It is not true at all.
Grade also depends to the teacher’s standard, not just you alone. You could work really hard to get a good grade, but it doesn’t mean you’re a genius.

Yes, I agree with it.
Grade can show how smart you are but it doesn't mean you will success in your life.
I don't care much people who have a good grade but I regard people who can adapt knowledge gained from classroom with their real life.
