Here are some usful phrases you can encourage your pupils to say in English.

Me!
What page/exercise is it?
What did you say?
I/we don't under stand (this word)
I/we've finished. I/we haven't finished.
Shall I help him/her?
Can I go to the toilet,please?

Here are some useful phrases you can encourage your pupils to say in English.

• Are you ready?
• Are you with me?
• Are you OK?
• OK so far?
• Do you get it?
• Do you understand?
• Do you follow me?
• What did you say?
• One more time, please.
• Say it again, please.
• I don't understand.
• I don't get it.
• Like this?
• Is this OK?
