PostSubject: What are your most effective reading styles?    25th August 2015, 8:29 am

Of course, Everyone has a particular time of reading. Then What's/re your most effective style/styles in reading!??

Reading while listen to musics (Jpop, bilboard top 200) is the best!!! And the musics mustn't come from speakers but earpieces! Avoid reading on bed! Sometimes buying some cute notebooks urges me to read because I want to create diagrams and draw little cartoon about lessons in a blank page. Make the notebooks to be my own academic books!!!! Don't forget to take a shower before start reading!!  afro  study  Sleep

Let's share some guys Smile I'm looking for new ways!! Very Happy

When I read books , I like to read in the silent place and comfortable atmosphere.
I have to read many times to got the concepts of those contents.
So before I will take the midterm examination ,I will read each subjects at least two times.

I have to find an inspiration. I might ask myself that why I have to read and what it is for. Then I start finding a good place where I have to sit down but not laying on the bed because I am going to fall asleep. What I do is that I need to skim and scan it for the first round. Then, I read it and try to recognize by talking to myself. I read at least 3 times to make sure that I do not miss any points.

First of all I make myself fresh by taking a shower, cleaning my face, eating sour and spicy tamarind, or drinking cool things.
And then find a place silent and comfort table for sitting.
Don't forget to take water beside.
Remember, the best effective reading is asking yourself what did you get after reading.

My reading styles is belong to the peaceful place.
Because it makes me have more concentration.
I cannot read while listening to music, it's very difficult.

I love reading while I am in the peaceful place which no noise and disturbance.
Because I am a hyper-active person so my concentratation is lacked easily.
I really don't like reading but it's a good thing for my learning.
However, I try to do it my best.

I love a peaceful place for reading book.
I prefer read a book on table and short note with colourful pen.
I want a feeling like earnest mode because it can make me more concentrated.
When I read a book for exam, I have 3 step. It's recommended by my dad.
First, read and highlight
Next, short note
The last, read around

Crunching while reading is the best way for me. When i was young, I watched "Disney Club". They said that if you want to remember all what you are reading, your brain needs oxygen. So, it means that we have to eat while reading because crunching can carry the oxygen to the brain. That is what I believe and follow since then.

When I read some books, I have to speak out or write down on the paper.
I often sum up main ideas what I read by using Mind Map.
In case of the places that comfortable for my reading,
It is flexible because I would be able to read everywhere I want.

I have to read it loud in order to remember those text, so I cannot go to read books in the library since it quite annoyed other people. Moreover, it will be better if there is a jazz music playing when I read books.

My styles in reading depend on the purposes of reading. If I read for my pleasure, I just relax and enjoy my story. But If I read for academic purposes, I have to read in the silent place only and I don't do other things while reading such as listening to music, watching TV, or talking. If I need to remember it I will write it down many times until I can remember.

I like reading out loud.
I think it could make me enjoy and reduce boring in reading especially with academic books.

Actually, I don't like reading books. Rolling Eyes
I just have to read them for the test or quiz.
In a small room without noise and people is the reading zone for me.

I just like reading the books, straight through, without any stopping or interruption....very very very rarely I'll come across a word I don't know and I'll look it up on dictionary.com, but that's it.

And I do listen to music while I read. But it ends up just being background noise, I get absorbed into books easy.

Reading and listening to the music at the same time is my effective reading style.
But sometimes it depends on my mood or emotion, too.
Most of the time, I need to hear something from TV, or radio.

The Hand is my most effective reading style.
When I am reading the passage, I use my hand and my finger to point at the word I read.
It will help me read all the words and understand the word's meaning.
And It is the simply way to use it in every kind of reading.

I will read by skim and scan at first time.
Then, I will read it again and try to recognize, and imagine as a picture.

I have 3 steps.
Firstly read and highlight what is important.
Next step is short note in paper.
And the last, I recite what I write on my short note.
That's all.

Placing a pen or paper under the line you are reading.
I think it's very helpful since I always forget which line I am reading.

While I am reading books, I love to listen to songs.
Music doesn't disturb me to read book any more and the place where I prefer to read is in my room at my dorm.

Turn off your Cooler device,
is the best effective way to read and you'll remember
what you have read because you tried so hard to read it.
