| In my opinion, Thai elephants have been highly praised and nationally proclaimed throughout history. In Thailand, Elephants are a significant aspect of culture and are a popular tourist attraction. And in Thai culture elephants are iconic symbols of power and strength. In Buddhism a white elephant represents the mental strength achieved after taming the mind.

| In the ancient time, elephants were used as a vehicle of monarch. They are considered as the improtant animal that we should preserve. They are so important for Thai tourist also. In fact, not only elephants that are preserve but also other animals in Thai.

| Thai people say we preserve elephants but I don't think so. As we have seen the elephants on the road, they are used to gain money by the selfish people. Many times I saw the elephant owners had punished their elephants for making the surrounding people bought the fruit for the elephants. Though there are a lot of campaign to bring the elephants go back home, there are a lot of elephants on the street. The campaign is good but I think It quite doesn't matter. anyway the answer for this question is elephant is the important animal of Thailand. they are the symbol of Thailand and they are the creature that helped Thai people to fight to the enemy in the ancient time.
