Can you live without a mobile phone?

It is so difficult for me to live without a mobile phone.
I feel nervours when I forget the mobile phone at my dorm.
In every morning, I have to pick it up and check all notifications on my phone.
And I keep pick it up all day, even though I have nothing to do with it.
Am I weird? Please let me know, if you are having this kind of behavior.
